Richard E. Straughn
A Winter Haven native, Richard joined his father, Jack Straughn, in practice after graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He has a strong commitment to community and has served as president on the boards of numerous local non-profits, including the Greater Winter Haven Area Chamber of Commerce, Winter Haven Hospital, Mid-Florida Medical Services Foundation and Polk Community College Foundation. Richard was honored to receive the Winter Haven Banker’s Cup “Man of the Year” award in recognition of his service to the community. He also serves on the executive boards of Platinum Bank and Comcar Industries, Inc.
